Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question about our products, services or process? We’ve answered some of the most common ones below. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to contact us — we’re happy to help!
Do you offer supply and installation, or just supply?
We provide a full supply and installation service. To maintain high quality and ensure proper fit and finish, all our products are installed by our professional team. We do not offer supply-only options.

What areas do you service?
We work across a wide range of areas throughout Sydney, including the Northern Beaches, North Shore, Eastern Suburbs, Inner City, and surrounding regions. If you're unsure whether we cover your area, feel free to reach out—we’re always happy to help or point you in the right direction.

Do you offer window or door repairs?
We don’t offer general repair services. Our focus is on full window and door replacements, including supply and installation of new systems. However, we do provide repairs if the door or window was originally installed by Manly Windows.

Do I need insurance for my project?
Yes—Home Building Compensation Fund (HBCF) insurance is required for projects over $20,000 unless the contract is held directly with a licensed builder. If you're working with us as the head contractor on a project over that threshold, we’ll arrange the HBCF cover for you as part of the process.

What are your current lead times?
Our typical lead time for windows and doors is 6 to 8 weeks from payment of the deposit. We’ll keep you updated throughout the process to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Can your windows and doors reduce noise?
Yes. We offer acoustic-rated systems and glazing options designed to help minimise external noise—ideal for homes near busy roads, schools, or flight paths.

What’s the difference between single and double glazing?
Single glazing uses one pane of glass, while double glazing uses two panes separated by a gap. Double glazing provides better insulation, energy efficiency, and noise reduction.

Are your windows and doors compliant with bushfire (BAL) ratings?
Yes. We offer systems and glazing options that comply with various BAL levels. Let us know your requirements and we’ll guide you through compliant solutions.

What is Low-E glass?
Low-E (low emissivity) glass has a special coating that reflects heat while letting in light, improving your home’s energy performance without compromising natural light.
